Irish Sea Moss

Irish Sea Moss- Preparing gel

My favorite superfood! Containing over 92 of the 102 minerals our bodies need. I have included a complete list of the 102 minerals at

the bottom of this page;  however, if you would like to know exactly which minerals sea moss contains, I task you with doing the

research! Below, I have included complete instructions on how to cook Irish Sea Moss down from the raw form to a gel form that

can be added to smoothies, hot teas, blended beverages, etc. I also know of people that simply take 1-2 tablespoons by mouth, or apply

it topically to trouble areas on their skin, or in their hair. might as well get creative.

Please feel encouraged to email me with any questions at IOMDIVINE@GMAIL.COM.

1.      Shake excess salt off of sea moss and place in a glass mason jar or cup with a lid. Fill enough water to cover the sea moss, add 1-2 teaspoons of lime juice, put the lid on and place it in the refrigerator to soak for 1-2 days.

2.      After 1-2 days of soaking, dump water and fill/dump again with fresh water to rinse sea moss off a second time.

3.      Cut the sea moss into smaller chunks/pieces and place into a large pot with just enough water to sufficiently cover the sea moss.

4.      The more water you add, the more liquefied the sea moss gel will come out, the less water you use will create a thicker, gel-like texture. I prefer a texture that is somewhere in the middle. I suggest starting out light and adding more water as you go, if needed.

5.      Cook on medium and stir continuously until sea moss melts down into a consistency you like. This could take up to 20 minutes depending on how much sea moss is in the pot.

6.      Do not let the sea moss boil/burn to the bottom of the pan, add more water if necessary and continue stirring.

I added a splash of water to the pot to thin it out a little as you can tell from the last video to this video.

7.      Once the thicker chunks/pieces of sea moss have been melted down into a consistency you like, remove from heat.

8.      Add to a mason jar/glass tupperware container and let it sit, uncovered, to cool to almost room temperature, then cover and store in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 weeks.

9.      Add 1-2 tablespoons of the gel to any smoothie/tea/blended beverage of your choice, take 1-2 tablespoons by mouth per day, or apply topically to skin if desired.

There IS NO HARM IN consuming large amounts of sea moss, however, i always recommend listening to your body. Adjust your dosage accordingly if necessary. If at any point you see mold forming on the gel, I recommend you discard it.

HAPPY HEALING! I LOVE YOU!
